What Responsibilities Does a First Hyundai Technician Have?

Our service center technicians play a significant role in our operations at First Hyundai. They are responsible for all of the vehicles that enter our service center. We look for technicians who enjoy problem-solving, learn quickly, work efficiently, have personal motivation, enjoy challenges, and have a knack for multi-tasking.

Some technician responsibilities include routine vehicle inspections, automotive troubleshooting, testing, and completing repairs. Technicians help Hyundai drivers with everything from standard servicing, such as oil changes, brake checks, fluid replacements to more nitty-gritty tasks. These include but are not limited to looking at small details to find out what is wrong with a driver's Hyundai and how to fix it. Part of the technician role is excellent customer service skills, treating every customer with respect and consideration.

Who is Our Ideal Candidate?

Our ideal candidate is someone who has a positive attitude and is ready to help our service center out with Hyundai driver's vehicles. At First Hyundai, our technicians work as a team to problem solve and get the job done. Being a team player and able to collaborate with other technicians is vital. Applicants should also be highly productive and get the task at hand done in a reasonable timeframe.

More technically, we prefer applicants with previous experience as an automotive technician; and do not need to have their ASE certification. However, having it is a plus. They also should have solid mechanical skills, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and possess quality workmanship and high CSI. We also ask that applicants have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and their own tools.
